St. Luke UMC to host ‘50th Finale’ Sunday

Throughout 2012, St. Luke United Methodist Church in Newton has been celebrating its 50th anniversary year with a special event each month. This Sunday, the church will complete the celebration with a 50th Finale.
The day’s schedule includes a 9:15 am Sunday School Christmas Program Rehearsal, followed by a single worship at 9:30 a.m.
A church conference will follow in which members of the congregation will be voting on the proposed 2013 remodeling project.
Afterward, everyone will celebrate with a fellowship potluck lunch.
The day will be rounded out with decorating the church for Christmas and the Advent season and singing of carols.
