‘Hanging of the Greens’ set for Sunday at Our Savior Lutheran

The public is invited to “The Hanging of the Greens” service at 9 a.m. Sunday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1900 N. Fourth Ave. E. in Newton.  

Music will be presented by Pastor John Moore, Lonnie Appleby, Julie Dlouhy, Bob Doerring and the Senior Choir. The service will tell the stories of the evergreens and holly, bells, poinsettias, Christmas tree and gifts, ornaments, candles, crèche and the Bible.  Fellowship time will follow the service.
