Carter commits to complete college

Des Moines Area Community College Newton Campus first-year liberal arts student MacKenzie Carter of Newton (left) recently signed a Commit to Complete pledge while observed by Phi Theta Kappa member Josi Arguello, also of Newton. The pledge asks students to commit to complete their associate degrees or certificates before leaving community college to transfer or to enter the job market. A total of 67 students, faculty and staff signed the pledge on the DMACC Newton Campus.
