The Jasper County Assessors Office provided a $100 donation to the St. Nick’s Christmas Club through an in-office fundraising effort. Employees in the office paid $1 on different “Jean Days” throughout the year with Jasper County Assessor John Deegan matching the money raised. Employees in the office then voted to select the St. Nick’s Christmas Club as the recipient organization for their fundraiser. Pictured from left are Peter Scarnati, Pete Hussmann (St. Nick’s Christmas Club President), John Deegan, Cathy Curtis, Tracy DeJong and Lynette Birkenholz. Not present when the photo was taken was assessors department employee David Kielly.
