DMACC campuses awarded $13 million in grants

Harris later announced a nearly $13 million federal grant to the Iowa-Advanced Manufacturing consortium consisting of all 15 community colleges in Iowa, including Newton. The grant will help train and certify students in several manufacturing disciplines, including welding, industrial automation and robotics.
